Back Again!

Hello Whoever's reading this (though it will most likely just be me),

I'm back for another blog entry, and in the middle of another book project. I recently posted my first poem to Writing.com and am enjoying the website immensely! I've also been reviewing other authors' writing. Last week I joined a group on the site called The Phoenix Aerie which is a sci fi fantasy writer's group. I haven't gotten a chance to review anyone on the site's work yet, but I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun, especially once I get to know some of the other writers. I can also post illustrations though I'm a little shy about that type of thing.

This new book project is very demanding not only of my time but of my imagination. It's presented a lot of challenges. I've never created anything so "big" before. I'm loving it.

?

I joined the port raiders on Writing.com but I'm not sure how to raid anyone's port yet. It's a pretty tough site to figure out. Someday...maybe.

A bee photo I found

Here is a photo of a honeybee (hope I spelled that right) that I found on the National Geographic website.

Here is a link to an article I found on bees:

http://www.csmonitor.com/2003/0527/p22s02-hfks.html

It tells which bees do what tasks in the hive.

Touching article I saw today

Today, as I was about to check my e-mail, I saw on article on Yahoo that an archived letter by Abraham Lincoln sold for 3.4 million dollars! It was a letter that he wrote as a response to a child's letter (I'm not sure if it was one child's letter or one written by a class) to free all of "the little slave children.

I'm back!

I had almost forgotten about this blog, but now I'm back. The goal is to post to my blog at least once a week and to add photographs, pictures, articles, links, and music.

~Later!
